You have your list of properties and are now wondering how to upload it directly into Dealmachine.
The first thing to do is make sure that your list of properties is on a . CSV file. We do not have a recommended file format when uploading as long as you can correctly map the full address, parcel ID, or latitude and longitude (tell the system which column on your file is Address Line 1, Line 2, etc.).
Depending on what columns you have in your file, you may import in different ways:
Importing using the full address in one column.
Importing using the full address which are located in different columns (street address in column 1, city in column 2, state in column 3, and zip code in column 4).
Importing using the Parcel ID, county, and state.
Importing using the latitude and longitude.
Importing using the Property ID (from a DealMachine export).
Here's a sample format of the spreadsheet.
How to Upload Your List to DealMachine:
Sign in to DealMachine.com.
Go to the "Leads" tab.
Click "Add Leads."
Select "Import List."
Click Upload List and choose your file from your computer.
You’ll see the column headers from your file. Match the property number and street address with "Address Line 1", city with "City", state with "State", and zip code with "Zip Code."
If you're not sure which column has the right info, hover over the headers and click "Samples" for guidance.
Note: If you have the complete address under a single column, you may map it with "Full Address".
💡 Tip: If you are on a Pro or Teams plan and you have created Custom Lead Fields, you can map any column in your spreadsheet to your desired custom field. Just make sure to select the name of the custom field in the dropdown menu when mapping the data.
How do I match properties using the Property ID during imports?
Property ID's can only be exported from DealMachine. If you have previously exported a list from DealMachine and want to bulk import values into your custom fields, importing by the property ID is the best solution. To be able to successfully import data using the property ID, you must map the "property_id" column to "Property ID".
How can I import using APN?
Ensure you have a column for the APN/Parcel Number, county, and state in the CSV file. Map the column for APN with "Parcel Number, county with "county", and state with "state".
How can I import using the latitude and longitude?
When you export properties from DealMachine, the file will already have the columns for the latitude (property_lat) and longitude (property_lng) so if you wish to re-import the properties to update custom fields, you can do so. Map the column "property_lat" with latitude and the column "property_lng" with longitude.
