The "Scrub DNC" setting is easily accessible in the Leads tab.You can also apply filters directly within DealMachine to exclude DNC-flagged numbers or records with blank phone numbers. Filters can help ensure data quality and prevent mistakes.
We've made it easier to see the DNC Scrub setting by adding it to the leads menu. You can quickly check which phone numbers you're calling.
"Scrub DNC" Dialer Setting Enabled by Default
For new accounts, the "Scrub DNC" feature is automatically turned on in the dialer settings. This helps prevent calls to numbers on the Do Not Call list right from the start, minimizing the risk of complaints about users' calling behavior.Adhering to local and federal telemarketing laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), is crucial. Consult a legal advisor for compliance clarity, and ensure scripts follow appropriate guidelines, focusing on property offers without referencing realtor services.
Call Limits Per Phone Number
To reduce the risk of complaints about excessive calls, we’ve set a daily limit on how often a team can call a single phone number.
If there’s "no answer", a "voicemail", or the person is "not interested", a team can call the same number up to 2 times per day.
For "warm leads", "hot leads", or when an "appointment is set", the limit is 3 calls per day to the same number.
If you get a response, the call limit resets for that day.
You cannot call the same person twice within five minutes, unless they call you first.
“Add to the Never Call List” Button in the DealMachine Dialer
You can now manage your own internal Do Not Call (DNC) list directly within DealMachine. After making a call using the Dialer, simply click the “Add to the Never Call List” button to mark a single phone number or all of the contact’s phone numbers as Never Call.If a script violates DNC compliance rules, you may lose access to call DNC-listed numbers. Update the language in your scripts to remove references to offering realtor services and focus solely on buying properties.
Once added, these numbers will automatically be blocked from future calls and exports. They’ll stay on your DNC list unless a team member removes them, helping you stay compliant and avoid calling leads who have opted out.
This feature makes it easier than ever to scrub and manage phone numbers before calling, improving your outreach process and respecting lead preferences.
Masking Your Number with DealMachine
DealMachine uses a pooled number system to assign a local number from their pool when dialing. This ensures your personal or business number remains private, adding an extra layer of security.
Note: We've started using a system to detect misuse of the DealMachine Dialer. This includes things like TCPA violations, fraud, scams, harassment, or hate speech. The goal isn't just to catch bad behavior but to help teams follow the rules, especially those new to cold calling and the TCPA regulations.
