This article is for the DealMachine Classic app (app.dealmachine.com and the DealMachine Classic mobile app). In new DealMachine, there is no Pin Mode or Tap-to-Add toggle — properties you add while driving are saved as Prospects.
Pin Mode allows you to view the property and contact information before adding the lead to your database. On the other hand, the Tap-to-Add mode lets you easily add properties after a single tap so you can move on to add more properties.
Which should you use?
It's a personal preference but you can try both to see which one would suit you better.
How to switch from Pin mode to Tap-to-Add, and vice versa?
Open the DealMachine Classic app.
Tap the small map icon at the top right corner.
Toggle on "Tap-to-add properties" to enable the Tap-to-Add mode and toggle it off to enable Pin mode.
