How to build your own List of properties using DealMachine's List Builder

Build your own list of properties using different motivators with our List Builder Plan

Please follow the steps below to start building your own list of properties using List Builder.

  1. Open the DealMachine app or log in on your computer at DealMachine.

  2. Go to Map.

  3. Enter a zip code, city, or county in the search box to move the map to that location.

    Alternatively, you can draw a custom area directly on the map using the drawing tool to target properties within a specific geographical boundary. This can be particularly useful for focusing on unique or irregularly shaped regions.


  4. Set your Motivators using the filters at the top. Quick Filters is where you can easily select the most commonly used filters.


💡If you select 2 or more Quick Filters at the same time, the system will pull properties that qualify either the first filter, the second filter, or the 3rd filter.

If you would like to pull properties that match all the quick filters that you selected, turn on Match All.


5. After selecting filters, and when you are ready to build the list, click Build List.

Locating Existing Lead Lists

To locate an existing lead list in DealMachine, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Leads page in your DealMachine account.

  2. Click on Open Lists to view all your saved lead lists.

  3. Select the desired list from the displayed options.

For example, named lists could include "Vacant Land Opportunities" categorized by counties or specific regions. By following this process, you can easily find organized lead data tailored to your needs.

Can I use more than 1 filter at a time?


Yes. You can use multiple filters at a time. Example:

For instance, you can combine filters like 'Preforeclosures,' 'Tax Delinquent,' and 'Absentee Owners' while enabling the 'Match All' feature to ensure your results are highly targeted.



Can I save my set of filters so that I can easily use them again in the future?

Yes. After selecting filters, open the More Filters options and then click Save Search.

In the future, view your saved filters by opening More Filters and clicking Saved Searches.

Note that saved searches cannot be modified after being created. If you need to adjust the criteria, you'll have to create a new search by following the original steps and saving it under a new name.

As a best practice, include multiple filters like property type and ownership conditions to create a more refined search and save it for repeated use.If you encounter issues when saving or retrieving searches, ensure filters are correctly applied before building the list.

Can I enter multiple cities, zip codes, and counties?

Yes. To do that, enter the first location in the search box and select it from the dropdown menu. Do the same with the second location and so on. You can enter up to 5 locations which can be a combination of cities, zip codes, and counties.

Additionally, by applying filters such as property types or other attributes, you can refine results further, making it easier to generate specific target lead lists.


How can I target a specific location on the map?


You can draw a shape on the map to target a specific location. Make sure you are zoomed in enough to activate the drawing tool on the left side of the screen.

Managing Account Capacity for Lead Storage and Export

If you reach the storage or export limit in your account, you may need to free up space for new leads. Follow these steps to manage your account capacity:

  1. Review and identify outdated or unnecessary leads in your account.

  2. Delete these old leads to make room for new ones.

  3. Once there is free space, repeat the filtering process to create and save new targeted lead lists.

By proactively managing your account storage, you ensure that you can accommodate new leads and maintain an organized database.
