Ink issues are usually caused by USPS's high speed sorting machines. If these cards get exposed to the belts for even a millisecond longer than they're supposed to, they're at the risk of getting abrasions. Sometimes, using a thicker paper stock actually makes the problems worse. This is a very unfortunate reality of mail in the United States.

It is an industry-wide problem that has had numerous studies on it, and it definitely is not an isolated incident for our printer or for our mail pieces. Take a look below:
