Build Lists using the Drawing Tool

Updated over a week ago

The drawing tool on the map allows you to target properties within a drawn shape. You can choose between the Custom Shape Mode and the Radius Mode, whichever helps you isolate the area you want more effectively.

Custom Shape Mode

Custom Shape Mode lets you draw a shape on the map to select properties within it. This is especially helpful when you want to build a list of properties in a defined area.

To access the custom shape mode:

  1. Click the Drawing Tool (pencil icon) on the map. By default, you’ll be placed in Custom Shape Mode (previously called Free Mode).

  2. Click a point or property on the map to start. As you move your mouse, a line will appear. Click again to set a second point, then continue clicking on different spots to outline and complete your shape.

  3. Apply filters.

  4. When you are ready to build your list, click Build List.

Radius Mode

The Radius Mode is part of the drawing tool on the map. It allows you to select properties within a circular area. This is useful when building lists of properties centered around a specific point or property.

To access the radius mode:

  1. Click the Drawing Tool (pencil icon) on the map. By default, you’ll be placed in Custom Shape Mode (previously called Free Mode).

  2. Select Radius Mode:

By default, the radius is set to 1 mile. You can adjust the radius by moving the slider to your preferred distance.

  3. Choose a point/property on the map. The drawing tool will draw a circle centered on the point with the specified distance.

  4. Apply filters. Notice the properties that are being highlighted inside the circle.

  5. When you are ready to build your list, click Build List.

Custom Shape Mode and Radius Mode both work seamlessly with AI Vision Builder.

If you prefer drawing freehand areas instead of a circle, you can switch to Custom Shape Mode.
